$2 1917 US Note – Jefferson & Capital Bldg.

Here we have a 1917 $2.00 Large Size, or also affectionately called "Horseblanket" notes because of their large size compared to the smaller notes, that came out in 1929. This is a Legal Tender Note, printed in accordance with the Currency Act of March 3, 1863, Large Note, Red Seal. These are also commonly called Bracelet Reverse Notes.

Not easy to find in any condition, signed by Speelman and White, and the serial number is B61628354A. There are no holes, tears or major damage, check pics and grade for yourself. Attractive, with vibrant colors and artwork of Capital Building, showing people and horse drawn transportation going to and fro. A great addition to any paper money collection.

This neat little booklet is full of various denominations of coupons, or tokens if you will, a script booklet would be more of an appropriate name, this one is unused and in excellent condition. Made by the Globe Ticket Company of Tacoma and I believe this dates to the 1930’s era.
